  • Account Information: Email address and name when you register.
  • Vocabulary Data: Words, translations, context sentences, and lists you save.
  • Usage Data: Learning statistics such as words added per day, quiz scores, and streaks.
  • Extension Data: The browser extension stores your authentication token locally on your device to keep you logged in. No browsing history is collected.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the LexiSave service.
  • To personalize your vocabulary learning experience.
  • To send word reminder notifications (only if you enable this feature).
  • To analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve our product.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with optional Google OAuth.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Database and authentication provider.
  • Google Translate API: Used to provide word translations within the extension. Translated words are sent to Google's servers.
  • Google OAuth: Optional sign-in method. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate LexiSave.

7. Your Rights

  • Access and download your personal data.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Opt out of notifications at any time via the extension settings.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies to maintain your login state. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
